Kanayo, are you sure this is a Basis question? What is the functional area for this transaction or report? There may be a better tag to use than Basis.

Hi kannydan,

1st of all I think the words that you used were not correctly put & hence is trying to create confusion. Generally this is a SAP User License Type. So, User License type can be assigned to User via SU01 or USMM also.

For User Licensing Type, you can refer to the below,

Generally, for CB SAP Application Professional:

An SAP Application Professional User is a Named User authorized to perform operational
related and system administration / management roles supported by the licensed
Software (excluding SBOP) and also includes the rights granted under the SAP
Application Limited Professional User

So, the BASIC needed t-codes of a SAP system can be executed with this role

Generally, this License type here gets calculated as per the Usage of the User, but with the needed T-codes roles assigned to that User, the User can carry-out the normal SAP transactions especially system-administration/management tasks
