topic Composite Role Text in DevOps and System Administration Forum

Hi all!

In our system, composite roles consist of single roles. Whenever a new tcode added or removed from a single role, you have to re-import whole role menu to update composite role. However, if you do so this time composite role menu is corrupted. Is there a way to get single role text in composite role menu rather than displaying single role ID.

i.e. ZS:FA:FA_DISPL should display single role text such as “display PO”

Regards

Hello Melih,

you can use the reference role, which means some roles are always stable, you can put it all in a role A , then you create your Role B ,B reference A, add the customized role into B , I think they are only a few roles which always unstable, you may change from time to time.

you can read the ADM940 for more detail about the reference role.

Best Regards,

Neil
