SOST status 718

Hello All,

Mails are sent from our SAP system to external mails,but i can see message status as 718 and the user says he did not receive any mail and its in Grey status.

we have status in green status also with 73 return code.Can someone let me know what can be done.

I have referred note 1714114 but our version is SAP_BASIS 740.

Hi Chandra

Also verify the settings in SCOT,

1) In transaction scot--->in menu --setting --->Default Domain - check the domain Value is correct 2) In transaction scot--->double click on SMTP nodes--->SMTP ---> double click on internet and check in the address area either " * "or required external emails added.

Hello Tammy,

Thanks for the note, XS718 means it not delivered to recipient.

I tested a case where i received mail but the status is still XS718,can you please confirm on this,
