Hi All,

We have webdynpro application in existing bw4hana system and business is extensively using for data uploads, consolidation and validations. Now I need to bring /implement the same or similar tool in data sphere. Could you please share the options to implement same or similar tool in data sphere.

Is it possible to implement same tool in Data sphere? If yes, what is the possible option in datasphere?

At present business is using this tool in web browser for consolidation and validations. Incase if I want to migrate/implement in BDC/data sphere, what is the best approach to do that?

Thank you in advance for sharing your thoughts.

Hi, as Andrea writes, CAP (BTP) is one option.
Another is SAC Seamless Planning or SAP Build Apps (AppGyver). Both need additional licensing however. CAP is in your BTP already included.

DSP only offers two options. In both you work with CSV. So first create CSV from BW (Joule can write you the ABAP)
and upload the CSV into DSP.
Either via push into HANA Container (DB-Access needed), or from SharePoint to Azure via Replication/Data Flows
Both can be automated. BW can send triggers to cron f.e.

Cheers, Martin
