SAP FSM Company settings upload

Dear FSM experts,

I encountered a small query when going through the FSM learning hub material. Below is the same:

1) I first created a company with required details.

2) The second step talks about uploading predefined company settings where we have to upload a .zip file.

Can you please clarify

1) Where will we find this .zip file for uploading?

2) What is the significance of this .zip file.

3) Is this a mandatory step after creating a company i.e. can we not proceed without uploading this file?

Hello Vishwas,

in FSM there is an option to upload your existing company settings and uploading it to a new company. This is the option displayed in your screenshot. But you don't need it to create a company.

So to answer your questions:

1) I don't know

2) Used to copy company settings from old to new company

3) Yes you can create a new company without this. If you don't use this you have standart configuration for all company settnigs. You may need to adjust them for different scenarios.
