Question Re: Smartphone C4C in CRM and CX Q&A

Hello,

Based on my experience, as of now, this feature is not available. Hence you need to ask your user to do the steps manually like for first connect make a sync and then once the sync is completed then go offline.

In my opinion, I would not assume that SAP will provide such a feature in the future because why you would want your app to go offline automatically.. There is no purpose. In fact, offline mode is just a feature when no connectivity is there and there are still some C4C function which are only designed for online mode(let say Embedded Component)

Smartphone C4C

Hello all,

We would like the smartphone or the app to synchronize the data once daily. Preferably during the 1st connection to the app.

This should enable the offline mode automatically without any manual action from the user.

The next day the app will have to go automatically in online mode to synchronize the date and then again go in offline mode.

Is there a way to to this?

What we are trying to obtain is to have an app really fluid and fast when used over a phone or when the marketing agent is not connected to a wifi connection.

Thanks in advance,

Pankaj
