Product quantity and price for abandoned shopping cart block

Dear experts,

I really need to include Quantity and Price in our shopping cart abandoned e-mail templates but I have come to the sad conclusion this is not available as per standard.

I have found this customer influence asking the exact same thing but I was hoping we have some updates by now 😕

The information is at item levem in the interaction of interaction type SHOP_CART_ABANDONED, for example:

"Product":"5488598",

"InteractionProductAmount" :"88.00",

"InteractionProductQuantity":"2"

}

Anyone has any ideas/workarounds for this?

understood the scenario. Unfortunately I've never had that requirement.

I voted for the request, hoping it will make it.

What about creating two custom fields instead of the standard fields? Wouldn't they be usable in email templates?

At the moment I'm not aware of any other workaround for that, sorry.. 😞 I'll think about and come back to you if I found a solution.

Thanks for the quick reply!

This is exactly what I thought. As a matter of fact I just tried that. I created a custom field at item level of interaction and tested it.

So the Interaction Item looked something like this:

{
"ProductOrigin":"SAP_S4H_PRODUCT",
"Product":"1000007800",
"YY1_PRICE_ITEM_MIP" : "5"
},

Guess what the system did?? It triggered the shopping cart abandoned email but it brought ALL values ever used for that custom field. It seems like it did not consider my trigger interaction field AT ALL. Finding it hard to believe this...

You're right, it's not available in standard SMC yet, you can vote for this idea which is acknowledged.

Include Quantity and Price of selected products into abandoned shopping cart block.

Also, there is not workaround apart from creating 2 CFs as of now for this scenario.

Unfortunately custom fields are not a workaround, either. I have tried to use custom fields at Interaction Product level but that didn't work. I believe only custom fields at Product master data level would work, but that's not the scenario. I need quantity and price of the product coming from the interaction and not the product 😕

oh wow okay... that's really not what I expected... but good to know if we'll come across that scenario in the future. Hope SAP will provide a solution very soon...

First I thought maybe a filtering using the live TG in the campaign could help, but that wont help... I think unfortunately you really have to wait for SAP's solution... 😕 For sure I'll let you know if I found another approach.

have you tried to use filter options (live target groups) to show only the last interactions (e.g. last 24 hours?

Still also the old ones are coming?
