No authorized import objects found

Hello,

We are trying to upload the data into SMC using CSV file, when clicked on app Data Import we are getting the error " No authorized import objects found.". Created a business role with the below Business Catalog still we have the error.

Can you pls suggest a solution to fix the error?

From SAP Help you need business role Administrator Marketing (SAP_BR_ADMINISTRATOR_MKT)

The error message shows "No Authorized import objects found" in the popup. I used a business catalog "SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_IMP1_PC" instead of SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_IMP_PC as this business catalog is Obsolete/deprecated.

Still the 1911 admin guide shows to add "Marketing – Import Data SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_IMP_PC"

Pls suggest how to fix the error...

Hi Sahi,

do you use the old "Import Data" app or the new "Data File Load" app?

Are these role you provided the only ones that the user is assigned?

We use "Data File Load" app... Yes the attached role is the only one which is assigned to user...

Hi Sahi,

was able to reproduce the error.

I created a role and added the business catalogs. Addition at this point: I had to add four more dependent Business Catalogs (SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_ADM1_PC, SAP_CORE_BC_EXT, SAP_CORE_BC_SL_EXP, SAP_CORE_BC_SL_IMP) but this has nothing to do with the problem.

I opened the app and got the same error message (whatever it means).

I assume you didn't change the restrictions for the role which are set by default.

So, in your created role please change the Write Access in the restrictions to "Unrestricted".

That should solve your problem (for me it worked). Please let me know if it worked or if you need further assistance.
