    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Rules are always created at the UI Component level irrespective of Header or Item node. Hence at first, you need to create a field in Contract "UI Component" to evaluate the condition and then associate the same rule with1 or more fields including header and item level.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Note: In the past, I had faced an issue that I was unable to evaluate the condition based on item level fields as it contains 0:N cardinality, not sure it holds true even today. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BR&lt;BR /&gt;Saurabh&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Dear SAP&lt;/P&gt;
  &lt;P&gt;On Contract, does is possible to create the Rule on Item level? not on the Root Level (Not using CAS)&lt;/P&gt;
  &lt;P&gt;I created the incident, but they could not give me the correct answer, and tell me to post on the Forum&lt;/P&gt;
  &lt;P&gt;does anyone knows how to? &lt;/P&gt;</description>
