Hybris Upgrade 1905 with solr 7.7 has performance issue

We are working on upgrading hybris version 6.5 to 1905, per the hybris upgrade document, we also tried upgrading solr to 7.7. We used the solr server shipped with hybris commerce suite. However, we see performance issue loading PLP, categories using solr 7.7. This issue does not occur with solr 7.5. Any insight? We have also used some custom code to load categories via solr apis in our current implementation in 6.5.

Hey Guys, apologies for the delayed response. We had to use solr 7.5 in the meantime, which works fine with 1905. I guess hybris may have released a patch to use the latest solr version, you can try that too.

Hi Kiran,

With the Hybris Suite, we didn't even find the solr server.

We currently upgrading to 1905 from 6.7, and we already noticed an issue with Indexation that takes much more before the Upgrade.

Did you encounter that issue before?
