Marketing role acces in hmc

Hello,

Could any one help on this requirement? I want to give access to only Marketing node (Marketing and whatever is under marketing node) in hmc for the user. I created "test-marketing" user and assigned marketingManagerGroup. After login I am seeing many other nodes on top of Marketing node. Here are my questions.. (1) How to show only marketing node (I don't want to show anything else)? (2) Which file contains the node structure for marketingManagerGroup? In other words which file says marketingManagerGroup should contain all the nodes or some nodes in it.

Thanks for your reply. The documentation is not clear. I created the user group "testhmcgroup" and this group assigned to "testhmcuser". testhmcgroup has promotion rule and not seeing that in hmc after login using testhmcuser.

This might be result of the fact that the access rights don't equal layout changes. See paragraph hMC Layout Adaptations in second link:

"Note that the user group-specific hMC configuration does not limit access per se, the members of the user groups simply do not have the hMC elements available. (...) By contrast, if the access to the Product type is denied through hMC access rights, then the user will not be able to effectively reach the Product type, even if the hMC configuration allowed."
