Division Field - Code list Restriction for account in SAP C4C not working in Advanced filter

Hello Expert,

We have requirement, where we need to restrict the division values in account level. I have created the code list restriction using sales data as the business object. It is working fine in QC & TI Screen but not in advanced filter. Is this the bug? Any other approach , where it will work in advanced filter too?

Hello Bharath,

Of course, my pleasure. In the KBA 2732591 we can see the statement ''Code List Restrictions are only designed to work for Quick Create screens, Advanced Search and for Header items'' so this could be a matter for investigation in an incident as a clear standard is not working in your side. However, CLRs are not my main expertise in support, maybe a colleague from this topic can comment the situation more deeeply.

Hi Bharath,

It won't work in Accounts, because when you created the CLR it is in Sales Data context and not Account. Unfortunately Division field was not made available by development to be restricted in the Account context.

For example, if you create a new CLR and select Sales Document BO, you will see that Division can be restricted just fine for Sales Order advanced filter, so for it to work as you desire Division would need to be available in CLR as a Code to Restrict when you select Account BO.

You can use Customer Influence (https://influence.sap.com/SAPCloudforCustomer) to request the Division to be enabled to be restricted in Account context.
