Default Org For BP (Prospect)

Experts

We don’t want to enter org data manually always while creating BP prospect or contact . Org data should be determined by default while creating BP in CRM web UI .

Example , after entering country or pin code, org data should be determined automatically in BP creation screen.

What config setting I have to do in CRM to achieve this functionality?.

Hi Rusheek,

(1) You can use SAP standard mini-template functionality. This will not be automatic assignment, but you can create sales area from template and it could be quite easier than manually enter the sales org data.

The customzing is :

-maintain mini template:

Customer Relationship Management-> Master Data->Business Partner->Templates->Maintain Mini-Templates

-assign Mini-Templates to Templates:

Customer Relationship Management-> Master Data->Business Partner->Templates->Assign Mini-Templates to Templates

Then when you create BP, in "sales area data" assignment block, you can use "New from template".

(2)To make automatic assignment, you need to create enhancement.

For example: make use of BADI BADI_CRM_BP_UIU_DEFAULTS
