Hello,

How do I split the bill between 2 credit cards with pepper,

For example a couple set in the restaurant with a bill of 100 Euro and they want to split 50 Euro each between 2 cards

Hi Nir,

the function "splitting" is only possible in the hospitality (restaurant) mode. Do you use this mode?

Dear Nir,

you have two possibilities:

a) split the table
b) multiple credit card payment

In order to get two valid receipts for two guests paying, you should splt the table:

Having split the table accordingly, you perform two seperate payments and two seperate hosting slips:

Ok.

Multiple payments are possible in the retail mode.

The function "table splitting" is only available for the hospitality mode.

Why you don't use the hospitality mode? 🙂

Workaround in the retail mode:

For example: Amount of 100 Euro than you can add the first payment with 50 Euro by VISA. Afterwards you add the second payment about 50 Euro by Master.

Hi Nir,

Julian is right, you can't splitt a receipt in the retail Modus, but you can pay one receipt with more then one payment method. See also screenshot. You can select several payment types clicking on the button (e.g. card payment), then select the card type in the upcoming pop up and insert the amount and click ok. then click again on the card payment button and select the next card type and insert the remaining amount.

basicly it helped but I'm usung Pepper plugin,

can I define more then 1 credit card in Pepper?

according the installation intruction I need to define 1

Hi Nir, I recreated the images that Stephan uploaded in regards to your use case with Pepper. As Stephan, Julian and Tobias explained you can add multiple payments to your receipt. If the amount is 100€ you can add two card payments for 50 € each. The payments will be handled sequentially. This means the customer will perform two separate payments of 50 € each to the terminal and he can switch the cards between the payments
