SAP Customer Checkout - Sequence Numbers

Dear expert,

Is there a way in standard to set a different sequence number for Cancelled Receipts and Parked ones, then on addition have them continue on the main receipts sequence number?

Dear Amlood,

currently it is not possible to use different number ranges in SAP Customer Checkout for receipts, parked receipts and cancelled receipts. As the number range functions are very deep in the core code of SAP Customer Checkout there is also no possibility to change the function via plug-in.

Hello Julian,

Per our country tax laws, the company will be asked why there are gaps in the sequence of the posted receipts, the gaps are due to cancellation/park but it's not acceptable. However the nature of the business still requires cancellation in some cases so you can't restrict the user from cancelling documents.

This is a bit unfortunate from my point of view, because we prefer the transparency and the fact that all receipts (even local cancellation and parked ones) are digitally stored centrally within one numbering.

But I understand that your tax laws are different.
