🇷🇴 Getting Started with Machine Learning using SAP HANA (Timisoara, RO)

This SAP CodeJam event is on the topic of Getting Started with Machine Learning using SAP HANA and Python. You do not need to have any background in the topic, but a lot of curiosity!

You'll become acquainted with how embedded Machine Learning in SAP HANA can be used to build ML models. In working through this CodeJam you'll also become familiar with how the SAP Business Application Studio can be used to work with Jupyter notebooks.

This is a free in-person event and is planned for Wednesday, April 17th in Timișoara, Romania 🇷🇴 from 10:00 to 16:00 EEST (UTC+3). The language of the event and the content will be in English. The instructor is a Developer Advocate Vitaliy Rudnytskiy.

There are essential prerequisites that must be completed by every attendee, before arriving at the event location. They are documented here: https://github.com/SAP-samples/hana-ml-py-codejam/blob/main/prerequisites.md.

The map pin on this site mentions one building and the department link in the description mentions another.

Hello @Vitaliy-R!

Is the CodeJam supposed to be held from 10:00 to 16:00 current Romanian Time?
I am asking because due to the Daylight Saving Time, the current time for Romania is UTC+3 while the description of the event lists the time in UTC+2.

Assuming the event timezone of 8 BST is correct it would still mean 10 am EEST / UTC+3.
Both Britain and Romania add +1 to UTC in the summer so should be fine.

Also the event description mentions EET first which with summer daylight changed to EEST again reason to believe no change in the schedule for our local timezone.

Indeed the SAP CodeJam is 10:00-16:00 in the local time zone for Timisoara: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html?iso=20240417T070000&p1=3332&p2=664&p3=136&p4=tz_gmt

I edited (1), but I hope (2) shows you the right time in your time zone.
