Hi,

That structure is used in main program of XK01(Vendor creation). i.e. what ever screen fields u r seeing in XK01 are refered to this structure.

Hope it is clear.

Thanks,

Vinod.

Hi Diana.

I would like to suggest you,

Coming to the basics,

1. A structure does not store data.

2. A structure is used to populate the database at RUN TIME.

3. A structure can be used by MULTIPLE tables for the above purpose.

4. As per SAP, this structure RF02k has been designed to handle or populate the data related to LFA1.

5.This structure provides the populating of data into the database table used by the program related to Vendor details.

Or even by our custom programs to fill the custom tables maybe by the same structure.

Hope that's usefull.

Good Luck & Regards.

Harsh Dave

Hi,

The reason might be...

We aont update single LFA1 table when we create vendor. There might be many other tables which we will update. This structure may contain those information also. So when they actually update the data base they can use this structure to update all the tables. There might be some other reasons behind using structure which we don't know. This may not be the exact answer. But might answered to some extent.

Thanks,

Vinod.

Hi Diana,

There are two ways.

1. By checking where used list of that filed/data element(U can select only for transperant tables in where used list selection)

2. Go to main program of that transaction(Can get it from SE93 or system=>Status when u r in that transaction). Here check the TABLES declaration. All these tables will be updated when u execute that transaction.

Note: Some times u may have structures also in tables declarations.

Thanks,

Vinod.
