How to convert Hexadecimal data into something readable

Hi,

I am using Adobe Forms and converting PDF data into internal table. But the problem is that data in the internal table is in Hexadecimal format.

How can i retrieve readable information from the same and insert into an internal table. ?

You can use "AIN_EPC_HEX_TO_CHAR" Fm.

Hi Rohan,

Simple and faster way to convert any hexa decimal to character is using Field Symbols.

Please try the below code.

*Data Declaration

Data: hexa(400) type x,

string(200).

field-symbols : <fs> type any.

*Start of Process

assign hexa to <fs> casting type c.

string = <fs>.

write : / 'string'.

I tried this to Convert hexadecimal to String. IT didn't work.

Data: hexvalue(400) type x value '00310030003200300030003000300030003000300030003000300034003000317735940000200032003000300038003100300031003000320030003400360035',

string(20) type c.

field-symbols : <fs> type any.

*Start of Process

assign hexvalue to <fs> casting type c.

string = <fs>. "= hexa.

write : / string.

hexa = you have to get the length of the hexadecimal string and then assign it.

assign hexa to <fs> casting.

string = <fs>.

write : / 'string'.
