Hi Experts,

I have a search help MCH1 which has to be modified for additional fields.

How to modify the standard search Help MCH1 (Addition of other fields).

This search help is used transaction in MB1C for the batch search help.

Can anyone send me procedure on how to change the standard search help MCH1.

you can directly modify the search help from SE11. But just check the side effects.

First check where used list . if it is not used anywhere or you want to apply to all the applications then go and proceed from SE11 and add the fields.

General steps for changing it are given below:

1. Go Into the Search Help MCH1 from se11

2. click on the included search helo tab

3. Create an Append Search Help(F5)

4. Create an Elementary Search Help under the append Search Help

5. Fill in the required values

6. Fill in the view fields (In case a view has to be created)

7. Fill in the Table/Join Conditions

8. Parameter assignment

9 .Activate and test the result.
