why program will terminate?

Hi guru's,

i have written one program which is working fine in my IDES system.

when i copied into Dev server there when i am executing it is showing the message on status bar..

'program terminating.....'

can anybody tell me in which situation program may terminate..

what is the program and what dump message you are getting.

Show the Dump details.

Hi,

Give the error details and what program....

There can be also a basis reason like if the GUI doesnt have any updated patches... just compare the patches of both the system if patches are less in DEV the that may be a problem if not it would be other problem..

Give the error details as I said...

HI,

Besaues of somany reasons it may go to dump.

for example

u r prg might have some division operation there in IDES u may not get zero for dividend, but u might get in other system..

or u might ave used some native SQL statements like that

for a clear answer mention u r dump analysis.

Hi Venkat,

Check whether you are using any custom Tables that are created in your Demo System which may not present in DEV system.

If you post u r dum then it will be easy to solve u r Problem.

Hi Venkat,

There may be several reason to get the short dump.

You may use any custom table which is not present in the dev server.
you may use any field which is obsellete in the dev server.

This would be great if you provide us the short dump description this will help us to understand the problem

actually function module naming convention is wrong in my program. that is the reason.
