      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;YES, the two statements are same&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;If I have LOW and HIGH it means the values beetwen the two values, doesn't it?&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi the ans in this case may be two types&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Case 1 : if you use sign  &lt;STRONG&gt;I&lt;/STRONG&gt; it gets values between the low and high&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;case 2 : If you use sign &lt;STRONG&gt;E&lt;/STRONG&gt; it gets values greater than High and lesser than low&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; example take low as 1 and high as 100.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;          then when you use I you get values from 1 to 100&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;          when E you get values     &amp;lt; 1 and &amp;gt;100&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;If I'm not filling the OPTION with BT, do the program know that it is a range beetwen the values?&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;By default option is BT&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;prasanth&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Actualy select options internaly behaves as internal table to specify the selection criteria of input value or range.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Take the answers in sequences,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1&amp;gt; YES, the two statements are same&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2&amp;gt; NOT EXACTLY.If LOW and HIGH is specified all the values &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;     which comes in between them will be counted but issue &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;     comes in LOW and HIGH values. if you give SIGN = I    &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;     both will be included if you give SIGN = E they will not. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3&amp;gt; The default value of OPTION is BETWEEN.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Whenever you want to search simple as well &lt;STRONG&gt;complex data search(range include, range exclude&lt;/STRONG&gt;) , wa always prefer to use SELECT-OPTIONS.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;One &lt;STRONG&gt;internal table is generated implicitly&lt;/STRONG&gt; with the same data object name as the name of SELECT-OPTIONS&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This internal table contains &lt;STRONG&gt;4 columns&lt;/STRONG&gt;...These are &lt;STRONG&gt;SIGN OPTION LOW HIGH&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;SIGN column contains:-  &lt;STRONG&gt;I&lt;/STRONG&gt;NCLUSIVE or &lt;STRONG&gt;E&lt;/STRONG&gt;XCLUSIVE&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;OPTION column contains:- logical expression like &amp;gt; , &amp;lt; , &amp;lt;&amp;gt;, = , &amp;gt;= , &amp;lt;= etc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;LOW column contains:- Lower Value.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;HIGH column contains:- Higher Value.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Q:&lt;/STRONG&gt; If I have LOW and HIGH it means the values beetwen the two values, doesn't it?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;A:&lt;/STRONG&gt; Yes, it is correct.
