Reading a standard text

Hi All,

I am reading a standard text using the function module "READ_TEXT".

The text contains all Plant addresses

as given below

/: CASE &T001W-WERKS&

/: when 'P001'.

Adress 1
Adress 2
Adress 3

/: when 'P002'.

Adress 1
Adress 2
Adress 3

Here I need to read the address based on the given plant in the selection.Is there any possibility to read perticular plant address directly by passing the plant. This I need in report.

No you cannot directly read the address by passing plant value. But there is one indirect way, after reading the std. text with FM READ_TEXT. U can search with plant in the table LINES against 'When' . For example in ur code u have a plant value store in variable say l_plant. Now search with it in table LINES. If record found then fetch the address attached with it by using some custom logic.
