Hi Experts,

There is very weird situation when i am downloading the excel sheet to pc.

When i am executing the program on say PC1 (desktop) the excel sheet is getting displayed with desired output.

But the same program i m executing to other PC2 i am getting the dialog pop up with following details:

Title : Save XXL List Object in SAPoffice

Name for the list Object : _______________

Title for SAPoffice:___________________

1.Why its giving the above dialog box?

2.When i am running on PC1 its not asking for the above popup (which i dont want) (ie The Excel File is generating)

3. What should i do?

Hi Pravesh,

This is because it is unable to locate the file on the desktop.

Just try to use Function Module GUI_GET_DESKTOP_INFO inorder to get the file path on the deskto directory and concatenate that path with your file name and pass it to your FM . Hope it may solve your problem.

well to let u know i am using CALL XXX_FULL_API.

In doc BCABAXXL,

u2022 Flag to suppress the selection screen NO_DIALOG (C, value supply: 'blank'/X)

u2212 If both NO_DIALOG = u2018Xu2019 and NO_START = u2018Xu2019, the selection screen of XXL is

suppressed. The list object will automatically be stored in SAPoffice under the title

determined by SO_TITLE (in case SO_TITLE is empty, an artificial title will be

created). In every other combination of the two parameters (including the default

one), the selection screen will be displayed. In this case, the value in NO_START

will only determine which option is given as the default when the selection screen is

displayed for the first time, whereas NO_DIALOG will have no effect at all.

u2212 In case XXL_FULL_API is called during background processing, it behaves as if both

NO_DIALOG = u2018Xu2019 and NO_START = u2018Xu2019.

In my case it is :

NO_DIALOG = u2018Xu2019 and NO_START = u2018 u2019.

Also program when executed should directly output the excel sheet without asking any dialog pop for storing the location.

Were you able to find a solution for this? I am seeing the same pop-up. Does it have to do with user defaults/parameters?
