Hi,

The field description of material number is dispalyed as Material sp3(instead of material) in mm01. I want to change back to material in mm01. Please let me know how to carry out the change?

in mm01 it is viewwed as material

industry sector

material type

because of the changes in mm01 iam finding the following field names

material sp3

industry sector

material type.

Hi Raam,

Try going to MM02 to change the material description for that material number. Because MM01 is to create

MM02 is to change

MM03 is to display

Hi,

in mm01 Screen we will find the field description as material(for matnr field). The field description had been changed to material SP3 by using field exit. How to change back the field description material sp3 to material in mm01 screen.

disable that field exit...

if it is not possible to disable the exit.. then restrict it for the desired TCODE only...

use RSMODPRF to find out the field exit...

execute this report..put the data element name of the material field...

you'l get the respective field exit..

can you tell me what is the t,.code where that field exit is created and how to disable that?

you need to execute report RSMODPRF to get field exits...

without giving any data element name execute the report.. you'l get the list of field exits

select the check box of desired field exit...

Field Exit > Dactivate

HI,

If this you are facing in MM01 first screen. the go to Screen Painter.. Enter program name as SAPLMGMM screen no as 60

select Layout Editor

and press display...

check the screen for Field lable Material...

If it is as you have mentioned.. Press Edit.. the probability is that.. the access is open and changed by someone..

Change the field name as you desire.

Then press activate.
