Hi,

Using Method Before_Update of Workorder_update BADI I ma modifying /creating Long text for component using SAVE_TEXT FM-its working fine. But when I go and see in IW33 the text what I have updated through BADI is not appearing. If I execute READ_TEXT in SE37 with same parameters I am able to see updated Long text.

Any idea why it is behaving like that.

Hi Sudheer,

You have to set the indicator for long texts as well: LTXSP (it is in structure RESBD).

You need to check the indicator field INDLTX if it is a notification or there will be long text indicator in CAUFVD structure.

If that is checked then the long text will appear.
