IDOC issue

Hi everyone

i have an IDOC for HR master data. this IDOC UPDATES the R/3 system taking the data from the excel file based on employee number-PERNR.

now its giving 2 types of error messages....

1) though it updates the data it says duplication of record(even though there is one record in excel file) and gives message application data not posted error and status -51.

2) now for infotype 7 its not at all updating the data.only for infotype 7 this problem is coming....

can someone tell me what i need to do in order solve this issue..

hi,

1. in this case may be the employee is alreadypresent for that infotype and this new record will overwrite the period of that record.that is why it may show u duplicate record exist.

2. in second case what is the problem u r facing.

check the reciever system , infotype 7 data.

employee is database is already present in dbase. its just updating that....

even though i pass 1record in excel sheet it updates data and says duplicate record. data is posted but message is application data not posted...
