Spool request is not printed properly

Hi all ,

I have a requirent to display report of width of 800 rows...It is working fine if I ran

it in foreground.

But when I execute in background for the spool request ... Output is getting truncated. My

default print format is X_65_255.

I want to create a new print format X_65_320.Can any one help me in creating the new

format

Is SAP support to creat a new Format according to our requirement .

It is not a problem if the print out comes in 2-3 pages .

Hi,

to create a new format just check the Tcode SPAD->output device.It depends on you printer whether the new format will support or not.

Thanks for the reply . Actually i am schedule some report in background . and it is creating a spool request to see the output. There is no need to print that . Only that will be in system to save the time for the user . But the row size near about 400-500 or even more . So the report is being truncated . Now if the report is in 60 rows then report is comming fine .

If u r interested to increase the width of the spool only then u can set

the parameter id ACCESSIBILITY_MODE ffrom a report and then call sp01. Then u can see the whole report o/p in spool.

REPORT Z125 .

data: l_mode(1).

l_mode = 'X'.

set parameter id 'ACCESSIBILITY_MODE' field l_mode.

call transaction 'SP01'.

l_mode = ' '.

set parameter id 'ACCESSIBILITY_MODE' field l_mode.

Look for a printer which displays more that 255 characters by F4 help. There could be a posible LOCL1. If you dont have any in your system you have to ask the Basis guys to create one Z format, something like Z_64_512 or Z_64_1023. After you use this format, Go to the spool dispay there is an ICON in the menu bar which says Display in Maximum Width. Use that to display lists more than 255 characters wide.
