I will still try your suggestion.

Any other options?

Edited by: Aparna Shekhar on Jun 13, 2008 1:01 PM

I am trying to delete an entry from a customizing table CKMLMVADMIN(General Control Parameters for Actual Costing). There is no maintanence dialog maintained for this table.

I am able to delete the entry in Development using SE16-> Delete Entries. But How do i move this change to production? When i deleted the entry it did not ask for a trnasport request.

The only think i can think of right now is to transport all the entries currently in production excluding the one i want to delete so that it overwrites all the entries.

Is there any other option?

Any input is highly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

If you don't get prompted for a transport when you delete an entry in SE16 you'll need to do the following.

While your entry is still in the table add it to a transport (if it's already deleted, add it back).

Now delete the entry from the table.

Then release your transport, as the entry has gone from the table the transport will treat it as a deletion in the target system

Regards,

KK
