Hi experts,

I'm developing a write program to archive some custom tables (Z tables) and so i have a question, do i have to develope a function group for my archiving class in order to make all this work ? Because i've been reading some SAP Documentation (Data Archiving - Developers Guide) and it says: "Archiving classes are developed exclusively by SAP".

Could anyone please explain me if i have to develop a function group for my custom archiving class ??

Why part of the data is archived from the write program and the other part from the group function in the archiving class ??

Thanks a lot!

Dev.

Edited by: Dev Levano on Jun 12, 2008 11:53 AM
