regarding customer num length

Hi All,

i dovelepoed one BDC conversion for customer master.

Now the probelm is we can give only 10 charectors customer length. SAP doesnot allow more than 10.

but the legacy system is sending 13 char customer number.

they unable to reduce that length.

is there any way to improve the customer length in SAP

from 10 cahrs to 15 chars.

can anybody help?

No, you can't. This would mean a massive modification of the standard system. Instead try to use another field in the customer master to store the customer number of the legacy system.

No! It's not possible to do it.

U need to create a rule for the code convertion in order to create new code of 10 char when a customer is uploaded on SAP.
