Authorization fields concept

I am trying to create authorization object. but I am not able to understand the fields concept. What is authorization fields concept.

After creating the auth object, i am trying to add in report prog but is asking auth group. What is the diff between auth group and object.

the authorisatio group contains the authorisation object..means some of the objects put in a group...
