Problem while downloading internal table to excel sheet

Hi all,

I have 15 columns in internal table to download.

But while downloading the same 1st 2 columns getting into single column.

Please help me to solve this issue.

Hi Eshwar,

Let me tell you how to rectify this problem

Step1 . First comment all the fields except 1st and 2nd fields from the internal table.

also comment the Field Catalog.

Step 2. Now execute it and see whether you are getting the correct record.

Step 3. If yes then now uncomment the 3rd column from the internal table and in the field catalog as well. and try to donwload if the problem is there then

Step4. Go to the declaration part of the internal table and check whats wrong with the 3 column.. try to change the 3rd column name of internal table and it should not exceed to 8 character.

I am sure you If you go through the above steps then you will definatly sought out your problem.

use gui_download

pas WRITE_FIELD_SEPARATOR = '#'.

Hi,

If you are using GUI_DOWNLOAD then pass one parameter

WRITE_FIELD_SEPARATOR = 'X'.

Other wise you can go for one Function module which is in my view better SAP_CONVERT_TO_XLS_FORMAT.
