Refreshing ALV output

Hi Gurus,

I need to refresh the ALV output. I am displaying the ALV output with some data in the output. Now i need to refresh the table i.e when I select a particular button the table in display should be refreshed and i should get empty rows. this is an oops alv.

Hi,

Method refresh_table_display of grid object is used for refreshing an ALV grid. It will refresh the data in ALV output from your internal table which is used in set_table_for_first_display method.

Your requirement is to display a blank ALV grid on click of a button.

In the user_command event, refresh your internal table (the one passed as outtab in set_table_for_first_display) and call the method refresh_table_display.

REFRESH it_outtab.

CALL METHOD gr_alv_grid->refrsh_table_display.

The following method call is used to refresh the data displayed within an ALV object grid:

CALL method gd_tree->REFRESH_TABLE_DISPLAY.

CALL METHOD gd_tree->set_table_for_first_display

EXPORTING

is_layout = gd_layout

CHANGING

it_fieldcatalog = gd_fieldcat

it_sort = it_sortcat

it_outtab = it_report.

CALL method gd_tree->REFRESH_TABLE_DISPLAY.

CALL METHOD cl_gui_cfw=>flush.
