IDOC Error

i have an IDOC which updates the changes done to Employee data.

the changes whatever are there are getting done but its giving an error message stating duplicate record and application not posted. but actual application is getting done(as changes are seen).

can some one tell me the possible cause of error please?

Which IDoc type is that? and what is the status of the Idoc..isn't it 53?

its a hr master idoc.

status is 51.application data not posted and duplication record error. also the data is getting updated.its working fine but this message is popped up.

Can you please give the Message type and basic type of Idocs that you are using?

Hi Pooja,

Are you sure the IDOC message type is CHANGE and not CREATE.

Looking at the Error Duplicate records seems to me that it the message type is create and not change and hence trying to create a new entry with same details and hence giving error.

It would be more clear if you give the Message tye details.
