Dump in ALV

Hi Experts,

I have an alv report. Whenever I select the print button or export to excel button I am getting dump??

Any suggestion please??

Check your field catalog.You must have mentioned field names in lowecase.Convert them to upper case.

Check whether you have passed:

i_callback_program = sy-repid

in FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY

Hi Experts,

I had already passed the report id (i.e. sy-repid) in REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.

In fieldcatalog fields are in upper case.

Any other suggestion??

Check with field names mentioned in the field catalog,with internal table-field.

Hi Experts,

I'm getting the dump as " The current statement requires a character-type data object. The current ABAP program 'SAPLKKBL' had to be terminated because it has come across a statement that unfortunately cannnot be executed."

I am using FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.

I think the problem is with your fieldcatalog, since, I don't know your code I can only suggest to take a closer look at on your fieldcat. Try to make a syntax check also. Please post your code.

There is some problem with your Fieldcatalog population.

Check it once...

Try to TABLE NAME AND FIELDNAME in CAPS.

Hi,

You must be getting output in screen diplay but clicking on print privew button will give a dump

This is a comman problem with ALV as resuse_alv_display support only character type variables.

Change the type of variable u r using in the final table to character or string.

in field catalog building make sure the type of the field is CHAR

This will solve your problem.
