Hi to all,

Can anybody guide me how the select query to pick the data from tables and store it into internal table in ALV ROBOT has been written.

Hi there ,

For select query you can start with

Select basic form would be like:

Basic forms :

SELECT result FROM source .

INSERT { {INTO target VALUES source } | { target FROM source } }.

Its syntax would be like:

SELECT ].

Reading Single Entries

e.g. Select single * from customers

Getting statistical information using max, min, avg, sum

Reading each line using Select u2026.. EndSelect

e.g. Select * from Customers.

Write 😕 Customers-name

EndSelect

Reading all the table entries using Select .

e.g. Select * from Customers into table all_Customers

Hi,

Just give the name and authentication and title and description in the first screen and go to next.

Then it asks the table name then give your table name as vbak or whatever you want and allias name also.

If you want the join the join 2 or more tables then you can specify the join type.

If you dont want to join 2 tables, you just want to retrieve data from a single table then specify a single table name and allias name.

Then go to next.

Then it asks for seelct-options whaterver you want.

ex. vbeln, erdat.......

Then go to next.

It asks for what are all the fields you want to select from that table.

Give the field names.

Go to next.It asks for the default valus. If you want to display any value as a default give the value otherwise leave it blank.

Go to next.

Then it again ask for the list of field names you want to display in the output.

It automatically stores the data in the table named t_data

it asks for the column positions give the position if you want to change the order of the field to display in the ouput.
