Using HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA create a new employee

Hi, Expertise,

I'm dealing with a ABAP programm using HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA to create new employee, instead of executing pa30/40.

Here I found a brief reply: , but there's something I still have not answer.

My question is: After importing parameters and executing HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA, I found that no record in pa30/40, and system msg came out: Personnel number not yet assinged. How can I solove this problem?

Another question: If HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA could successfully create an employee, could the employee's infotype be modified/updated in future?

Hi, Venkat,

Yes,I've passed all the value you mentioned, as well as some more IT0000/0001/0002 data.

But the FM runs without reture error. I also tried to set DIALOG_MODE=1 to see detail error, but not any comes out.

Hai,

Is it due to the reason that the person is not yet hired and hence the person may not be available in the system.

Usually this error is when you pass a PERNR that isn't yet assigned and the measure requires a valid PERNR.
