hi,

You can directly put a break point in the BDC program.

But there is a restriction that if you put any breakpoints in any of the transactions in N mode it goes to dump instead of N mode go to P mode.

N : Processing without display of screens. If a breakpoint is reached in one of the called transactions, processing is terminated with sy-subrc same as 1001. The field sy-msgty contains "S", sy-msgid contains "00", sy-msgno contains "344", sy-msgv1 contains "SAPMSSY3", and sy-msgv2 contains "0131".

P Processing without display of the screens. If a breakpoint is reached in one of the called transactions, the system branches to the ABAP Debugger.

Reward points if helpful.

Thanks and regards.

hi,

i have a similar kind of issue. i have a bdc for PA40 using call transaction. it is sometimes uploading the complete data sometimes few fields are missing. When fields are missing, that time bdc breaks without any error.

what could be the possible reason o the data not getting populated.

need a solution urgently.

thanks,

shobhika
