      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Data types can be defined  independently.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;can define datatypes either locally in the declaration part of the program using types statement.or globall y in the ABAP dictionary.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;data types are divided into  elementary referenceand complex types.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; Data objects : are the physical units in which ABAP statements work at  runtime.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;dataobjects has set of technical atttributes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;declare data objects statically in the declaration part odf an ABAP Program.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;pls reward if helpful.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;rgds,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;rajyalakshmi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;   Datatype are types created at dictonary level, just specifying technical attributes. It does not have any memory. Where as dataobjects are variables created at runtime. They will have memory so holds data.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PLZ Award points, if useful.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
