what is the difference between sales document and billing document?

Hi Alka...

when user places a Order for some material then company creates is Sales document and once the material is deliver to Customer then company gives him a Billing document which is called as Invoice.

Hi,

a sales document is e.g. an order and a billing document is the invoice for the customer, how much he needs to pay.

Or what do you want to know?
