Search help with description

Hi ,

I have four ztables like ZA,ZB,ZC,ZD. All these tables conatining following fields step,reticle,mfgloc,wired,attribute1,attribute2.

I have four t-codes also ZA,ZB,ZC,ZD.

F4 help should display description values attached with the actual values upon pressing F4 for fields

MfgLoc

Wired

Attribute1

Attribute2

For all transaction codes: ZA, ZB, ZC, ZD .

write a select statement with a join with the table where the descriptions are stored. Then use the FM F4_IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST for obtaining the search help functionality.

Hi,

For all the 4 z-table fields,you have to maintain a check table.In this check table,you maintain the field value and its description.After that,make a search felp and assign this search help to the fields.
