hi all,

how do i select the default printer and print automatically after my spool is generated

You can maintain the printer name in your default settings. For automatic printing of documents like PO/Sales Order/Shipment etc, you can define a output type. As soon as you save these documents, a print will be generated.

1) You have to maintain Nace entries.

2) goto

syatem -> user profile -> own data -> select defaults tab ->

Under Output controller define your printing parameters.

Hi,

Selecting a Default System Printer (Document)

Purpose

Every time you request a report to print, the IRIS system needs to be told where to send the

printed output. Rather than entering that information every time, you can set a default printer

that will be used unless you change it for a special purpose. Use this procedure to set a

default printer for your IRIS reports.

Prerequisites

It is recommended that you use an IRIS designated printer as your default printer. Any

networked printer can be designated as an IRIS printer. The printer does not need to be

dedicated to only IRIS printing to be an IRIS printer. If your department does not have an IRIS

designated printer, please go to the IRIS website at http://iris.tennessee.edu/. Select Getting

Started and then IRIS System Printer Request Form. You will find information on how to have

a printer designated as an IRIS printer.

Menu Path

Use the following menu path to begin this transaction:

1.Select IRIS User Tools

2. Own Data

3.SU3 - Maintain

4. Own Data to go to the Maintain
