Hi EXPERTS,

Below is a report.

I am not clear withits o/p.

according to mu undertndg it shows details of the sflight table with default variant in the screen (initial screen)

Actually i went through the code i dint practice it as i dnt have sap at home.

It simply displays the Air line details like Flight No, Flight Date and Fare in ALV grid.

Paste the User Command Code also, it is missing in the code.

hi,

1) the report prog. has used alv FM to display the o/p.

2) initially the default variant is passed to the report through the alv_dislpay_variant FM.

3) then by using field catalog ur report is passing headings to the o/p. ( i.e ur o/p table should have field heads rite for that u r using field catalog and then passing this field catalog to ur FM alv_list _display)

4) now u need a top of page in ur o/p display, so u wil import events into ur report prog. with the help of FM.

5) that is why u have used user_command in ur FM.

6) now events of alv can be accessed bcoz u have passed user_command to bring the alv events to ur report prog.

7) after using the top of page event, now ur output display should dispaly the top of page.

😎 for that u r using another FM . alv_ commentary_write..

these are the interpretation of ur code...
