Hi,

BDC RECORDING method is used to record the screen fields and values in the transactions and we can generate the program also create sessions also create function modules for that transaction.

Ofcourse you can do recording in any landscape but development is preferred.

If you save the recording in a package then you can transport it to any landscape using the transport request which you will get at the time of assigning the program to the package.

reward points if helpful.

Thanks and Regards.

Hi,

You can do the recording in any of the client : developement or quality. But while doing the recording you need proper test data. So i would advice you to first do the recording with the proper test data in the test client, save or import the data to your local machine and then import the same recording in the development client.

Hope this will help...still any issues, pls feel free to ask.

Thanks,

Rupesh
