Copy ALV fields to screen fields

Dear ABAPERS,

i want to copy ALV fieldcatalog data to Screen fields.

for that i have one global structure which contains ALV data and i am creating a same structure of screen fields and doing move-corresponding and by this Global Table of ALV copying data to the structure (of screen fields) but this is not passing to the screen fields.

Please suggest what needs to be done.

Also tell me if i m wrong and you have some other options.

MOVE-CORRESPONDING GS_ALV_HC_MSG_SELECTED TO TT_SCRN_STRUC.

GS_ALV_HC_MSG_SELECTED is my global structutre of ALV

TT_SCRN_STRUC. structure of screen fields.

and by MOVE-CORRESPONDING data get copied to TT_SCRN_STRUC.

but this data is not displaying on my screen field.

Hi,

Where have you written this Move-Corresponding? - Data transfer between program and screen fields should be done in PBO of the screen

Screen fields are created with the same name as in the structure you mentioned? For example, your structure TT_SCRN_STRUC has a field FIELD1. Screen field should be created with the name TT_SCRN_STRUC-FIELD1. Then only it can display the value of that structure field

Are you able to debug and check if data is populated in TT_SCRN_STRUC?

More over, Is it a table - Multiple entries or Single selected entry from ALV? and are you using a table control to display all records?

Brief your requirement a bit.

you said your ALV structure is like of GS_ALV_HC_MSG_SELECTED and you are displaying TT_SCRN_STRUC data after move-corresponding how can it be possible.

you have to define your ALV structure like TT_SCRN_STRUC than it could be shown.
