Running Reports Externally

Hi,

I want to execute some reports from outside the SAP system and get the generated output.

For example, I'd like to call the RSUSR003 report, to know the standard users state...

Is it possible get the result of that report remotely (with out logging onto SAP)? For example using RFC or CPIC?

this should be possible using RFC. Create RFC destination, create remote enabled FM, in function module do a submit of this report, import list from memory and export this via remote enabled FM back to calling system/application.

Ok, thanks for the response Micky,

I am trying to do so WITHOUT installing or developing a new FM in the SAP system.

So...if I want to execute RSUSR003 (check standard users for default passwords) from the outside, I have to analyze the report, see what FM it calls and the logic it uses and then, make and RFC program that calls this FM from outside and reproduce the logic in such program?

Is there no other choice?
