Hi,

It is mainly for the "Goods receipt" of materials with reference to purchse orders.

Hi Sridhar,

MIGO is used for creating goods movements. i. e to create/reverse/repost material documents.

eg: Once delivery is created u have to create Material document to actually move the goods from one location to other. Not only these there are 100s of goods movements which can be used for different purposes.

Transaction migo is related to all kinds of material movement in the organizaion i.e.

Transfer posting

Goods reciept

Return delivery

Goods issue etc
