Hi to all,

Iam Very new to SAP.

Now iam doing the Table maintenance.

In my selection Screen i have two radio buttons 1) Variable 2)formula

if the user selects the variable button then i should restrict him to enter all the formulas except 'C'range

if the user selects the formula button then i should restrict him to enter all the formulas except 'U'range

in my custom table formula numbers are cq01

cq02

up01

qp01 like this..

How to achive this requirement?

You can do this using Table Maintenance Events:

i want to know one thing that is that formula field is also present on the selection screen?

is user have to give formula input on selection screen?

Hi,

Incase if you want to restrict the values in table maintenance generator then

goto table maintenance generator.

double click on the screen number.

you will get code editor. there you can write you code for validations.

Following workd incase of selection-screen.

at selection-screen , you write the code as follows:

first check which radio button was checked. Then take the test into a variable. then using offset check whether the first character is U or C. then show error message.

if variable_radio = 'X'.

get the data from the textbox into a variable.

now check as follows:

PARAMETERS : a radiobutton group r1,

b radiobutton group r1.

PARAMETERS : abc(10) type c.

AT SELECTION-SCREEN .

if a = 'X'.

if abc+0(1) = 'C'.

MESSAGE e000(0) with 'Invalid text'.

endif.

else.

if abc+0(1) = 'U'.

MESSAGE e000(0) with 'Invalid text'.

endif.

In my first selection screen

1) Variable

2) Formula

i)Price

ii)Quantity

iii)Calculation

After user selection the table control is displayed then he is going to enter new values ...in that maintanence screen Formula number fiels is there

then try like this ,

data: s_formula type ........

if variable = 'X'.

if s_formula+0(1) = 'c'.

don't proceed......give some message to user that enter formulas which r not in c range.

else.

proceed.

endif.

same case with if u select formula radio button.
