How identify server going down

Hi,

Can anybody tell me any function module to identify server going down.

I am running one modulepool program it should update in which server currently it is working Examp Developement sever, But it is going dump.

is there any function module.

Could you clarify what sort of "dump" you are getting, and what you are trying to achieve? If you are running on the dev application server and that server goes down, then your whole session will just stop / disappear... are you wanting to swap your dynpro code execution to another server, e.g. Test, if Dev goes down?
