List Box in Table control

Hi Experts,

I have two list boxes in my table control, let's say the first list box is SERVICE TYPE and anothers is SERVICE CATEGORY. And the action is :

1) Select a service type in list box of SERVICE TYPE;

2) The program will select the service categories (We have a custom control table to map the service type and service category) by service type and display it in the list box of SERVICE CATEGORY if the user click this list box.

Do you have any idea on the requirement??

In the PAI of your screen logic just add a module.


LOOP at gt_table.
  :
FIELD ls_wa-service_type
      MODULE set_service_category.
  :
ENDLOOP.

where gt_table is the internal table behind the table control and ls_wa is a structure of the line type of your table control. In the module set_service_category just determine the value through your control table and set it to the field.

Don't forget to do a modify to your internal table so the value is transferred.

Hi Michael

I want to generate a list box for the service category base on the service type at the same row. Yes I try to call the function mpodule VRM_SET_VALUES at the PAI just like below:


LOOP at gt_table.
  :
FIELD ls_wa-service_type
      MODULE set_listbox_for_sercat.
  :
ENDLOOP.

In the module set_listbox_for_sercat I get a list of service category base on the service type and then call VRM_SET_VALUES . But it always show the service category of last row of gt_table in the table control.
